Permanent full-time position.Half day Friday.Development opportunity for those with aspirations in the Food Science Industry.We're on the lookout for a diligent, motivated and values-driven Technical Officer to join our Beverages Technical Team at our Berkeley Vale Manufacturing Facility on the Central Coast, NSW.

The Position The Technical Team at Berkeley Vale are responsible for building consumer trust by ensuring the quality of some of Australia's most beloved products, including So Good Milk, Up&Go and Australia's No.1 Breakfast Cereal, Weet-Bix.
As a Beverages Technical Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring product safety and quality are achieved by providing quality assurance and technical support to our Beverages Manufacturing Team.
Reporting to the Senior Food Technologist in Beverages, the key responsibilities of this role are:
Review and evaluate production records (including micro and allergen results) to determine suitability for product release.Raise Non-Conforming Product Records where appropriate.Provide technical support to production (trouble-shooting).Conduct audits internal and external to department.Assist in the preparation of standard methods/operating procedures, work instructions and other quality system documentation.Compile weekly product status report.Oversee that samples are sent away for appropriate testing and other analysis.About You The successful applicant will have:
A degree qualification in a science related discipline.A broad understanding of quality management principles and practices.FMCG and/or Beverages Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.An analytical mindset.An ability to work in a systematic, methodical and orderly manner.High-level professional literacy skills and writing/reporting aptitude.An ability to follow instructions and work with others to deliver results.Who are we?
