Showroom Experience Specialist (Seasonal Casual)Sleeping Duck was founded in 2014 by engineers Winston Wijeyeratne and Selvam Sinnappan and is now one of Australia's fastest growing startups.
We design our own concept products entirely in house.
We are a multi-award winning product company that is reinventing the way Australians improve their sleep quality through better and more accessible high-quality bedroom products.
Showroom Experience @ Sleeping DuckOur beautiful showroom located in Prahran is buzzing with energy and is an exciting, unique space to work in.
We are looking for engaging individuals to join our amazing team.
This is not a retail space; it is our showroom which has been purposefully built to take customers on a journey - engaging with our products and guided by our team members who curate tailored experiences for each customer.
What's the role all about?Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, with our Showroom Experience Specialists welcoming and engaging new customers.
Responsibilities include:
Chatting with customers, building rapport, guiding them through the showroom, and encouraging interaction with our products.Focusing on the quality of the experience rather than sales (not KPI driven).We are looking for new Seasonal Casuals with availability over November, December, and January to join our dynamic team.
Availability over weekdays and weekends is essential.
You will receive warm welcomes and paid training on how we do things the Sleeping Duck way in a fun and energetic environment.
This is a 3-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
People who we'd love to work withNo specific experience required; we seek positive and engaging individuals who may have knowledge and experience in customer service.
Ideal candidates would possess:
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with customers.Some customer service experience such as retail or hospitality (not necessary).Enthusiasm, passion, and a team player attitude.If this role resonates with you, please apply
