We are a boutique residential and commercial builder based in Melbourne with a diverse portfolio which includes custom luxury homes and unique commercial projects.An opportunity has come up for a Supervisor / Foreman to join the team. We are seeking someone who has a comprehensive understanding of the construction process from the ground up and who takes pride in everything they do and is looking for a progressive career path. We will invest in your development to master your skills while working in a positive environment. The right person would be able to take on the role with full rigour and is willing to take ownership of the projects and facilitate the delivery process from different aspects. You will also work closely with the Project Manager who will assist with programming and provide project support to ensure you are able to run a highly productive site.The ApplicantYou must have the legal right to work in Australia.To be considered for this role you will also have:Minimum 2 - 3 years experience working on detailed custom projectsMinimum 2 - 3 years supervising and running projects.Previous experience with Basements & Lifts preferred but not necessaryTenacity, Drive & AccountabilityRelentless with implementing and enforcing OH&S and Site SafetyAbility to take ownership and drive your team to meet the programAn eye for detail and ability to produce a high standard of quality workSomeone who is highly organisedInterpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with everyone involvedCompetently read and follow engineering and architectural plansHave an ability to follow precise directionThe ability to work unsupervisedBe pro-active rather than re-activeRequired Licences and CertificationsRed or White cardMust have own vehicleDriver's licenceKnowledge of Workplace, Occupational Health and Safety regulationsYour application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a site supervisor?Do you hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?Do you own or have regular access to a car?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?
