Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Training and Assessment Officer who can empower communities and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities.We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands throughout Australia and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.This role demands a sharp attention to detail and expertise in the field, with a strong focus on building and maintaining meaningful relationships with community stakeholders.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who thrives on challenges, is dedicated to driving positive change in education and communication within the federal government sector and is passionate about fostering meaningful connections with First Nations communities.
This position is designated for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people under s.12 Special Measures of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic).

About your new roleAs a Training and Assessment Officer, you will design and deliver comprehensive training programs to equip staff with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate policies, processes, and the Data Management Framework effectively.
This role also emphasizes fostering cultural understanding by integrating training co-developed with First Nations Traditional Owners, delivered across urban and regional locations.
What you will need to exceedExtensive experience in creating and implementing impactful training programs and resources.Solid background in policy execution or working within data governance and compliance frameworks.Exceptional ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate clearly across all levels.Skilled in evaluating training outcomes and crafting comprehensive reports.Strong aptitude for strategic planning and forward-thinking problem-solving.DesirableExperience in working for governmentIf you are a community engagement expert with a commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and transformative change, we invite you to apply and be part of this inspiring journey.
