Product Manager – Address Validation

We are looking for a Product Manager in Melbourne with specific expertise in address validation.
The Address Validation capability is an integral part of our flagship product CargoWiseOne.
We have an ambitious goal to design and develop a best in class, global address validation product which will be used by our large and ever-growing global user base.
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in defining and owning the Address Validation product strategy.
This role will be a valued member of our Master Data Management team and be suitable for someone that is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.
The scope of the role includes designing, testing and releasing complex software at scale that is used by and impacts a vast customer base.
Job ResponsibilitiesEngage deeply with customers to gain a thorough understanding of their unique business challengesPartner with other WiseTech Global teams to understand their strategic objectives and align development priorities accordinglyDefine and own product vision and product roadmap for the Address Validation product, aligning with the company's overall strategic objectivesCollaborate with development teams, technical experts and delivery managers to deliver Address Validation product strategic objectivesEnsure the product fulfills both customer and company needsCollaborate and influence external software providers to meet our strategic objectivesCreate relevant product documentation for internal and client useRespond to customer requests for product enhancements and supportCreate test plans and perform test executionIdentify problematic address trends and patterns and make informed product design decisions to overcome theseBe responsible for improving the quality of the Address Validation productJob RequirementsProven experience in address verification domain area is key and extensive knowledge of the key steps including address cleansing, parsing and validationAn understanding of global address standards (e.g.
Address geocoding) and proven experience using these standards to solve real world problemsExtensive knowledge of different country address standardsBroad knowledge of address structures across different countries and/or demonstrated expertise conducting extensive research to gain knowledgeExperience analysing large address datasets using tools like Excel, Kibana and Power BI and quantifying why one approach is better than anotherCan engage and communicate effectively with external suppliers (address validation solutions providers) and internal stakeholders (development team, product managers and senior management)Ability to produce high level product designs, detailed product specifications, test plans, perform test execution, produce internal product documentation and customer facing elearning contentExperience in planning and executing complex software releases on a global scaleProficiency in a second language a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
