Product Specialist/Merchandiser

Position: Field Product Specialist - Sunshine Coast region Job Type: Casual role; 10 hrs per week Salary: $34.08 per hour If you are passionate about the health industry, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a positive, enthusiastic attitude, this role could be ideal for you.
We are seeking dynamic individuals to support our business in a fast-paced sales support role within the health products industry.
This position is ideal for someone looking for casual hours, requiring approximately 10 hrs per week, with potential growth into additional hours.
Position Summary As the business continuously secures new and on-trend health products, the primary purpose of the Field Product Specialist role is to represent our business in the market by interacting face-to-face with customers and showcasing our offerings.
Your time spent in-store will focus on presenting and promoting our extensive range of products, ensuring they are well-merchandised, highlighting new products and monthly specials, and taking orders.
This rapidly growing business emphasizes forming strong connections with customers, where the ability to establish effective relationships, manage time autonomously, and a passion for health products are key to success.
You will work closely with the sales support team at the Head Office, and the sales head.
About the role Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Visiting customers, including health stores, pharmacies, grocers, and independent supermarkets.Presenting and promoting the extensive range of health products, particularly emphasizing new products and monthly specials.Managing and building relationships with new and existing customers to drive growth.Ensuring premium product positioning and merchandising in-store.Generating sales and processing orders.Working towards individual and team KPI's.Providing professional service at all times.Are you a fit? Experience in a retail or supermarket sales environment with strong customer service skills.A desire for a fulfilling and exciting casual role that fits your lifestyle.Adaptability, agility, and strong problem-solving skills.A sense of accountability and pride in your work.Enjoyment in meeting and communicating with people at all levels.Strong attention to detail, highly organized skills, and a process-driven focus.A high level of motivation and the ability to take initiative.Familiarity with health products is a plus.Successful applicants must have: A reliable car.The right to work in Australia.A current driver's license.The ability to provide an RTA report of points.What is on offer You will receive comprehensive initial product training and support from the sales team, ongoing coaching and product training to help you succeed.
This is a casual role requiring approximately 10 hrs a week, with hours between 9 am - 2 pm (flexible).
We offer a competitive hourly rate and kilometer reimbursement based on ATO rate for kilometers traveled.
