Product and Underwriting Manager - Financial Lines Ansvar is an insurance and risk specialist with a unique expertise and genuine focus on protecting and supporting organisations who care for and serve the needs of our communities.

About the Role
As the Product and Underwriting Manager - Financial Lines, your role will be responsible for the profitability, underwriting and oversight of Ansvar's Financial Lines portfolios across all associated product classes and customer segments – including SME, Mid-Market and Corporate (Strategic Accounts).
This role can be based in Melbourne , Sydney or Brisbane .

Underwriting - appetite, guidelines and standards Underwriting authority licence and accreditation Rating / Pricing tools Underwriting governance & assurance Technical expert Build organisation-wide underwriting capability Knowledge, skills and experience:
Extensive experience (min 10+ years) in a technical underwriting role in Financial Lines Deep knowledge of Financial Lines products and exposures Experience in Policy drafting in long-tail lines of business Proven track record in delivering profitable growth in Financial Lines Confident and influential communicator with the ability to negotiate at all levels Commercial acumen – decisiveness on critical business issues and decision making Responds positively to change; actively seeks feedback on performance Ability to create a positive working environment Passionate about the business and making a difference Ansvar believes deeply in embracing our Values and Behaviours What we can offer:
