Many of our client group live with mental health diagnoses, substance misuse issues or an acquired brain injury.
Due to the impact of these, many of our clients also have a history of homelessness or were at high risk of homelessness.
As a Registered Nurse at Prague House, you will play a crucial role in leading a dedicated team in our person-centred approach to care.
We are a vital part of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne Residential, Palliative Care & Correctional Health Services, a key clinical service program of SVHM and broader SVHA Public Hospital division.

Working within a collaborative team of enrolled nurses and health care workers, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management, to support the provision of individualised care that meets the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Classifications for this position is YS9 ($99,252 per annum pro rata).

Qualification and Commitment: in addition to your experience, you will need:
Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRAMinimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an aged care setting is requiredFamiliarity with the Commonwealth Aged Care Standards and the requirements of meeting them, an understanding of relevant legislationPost graduate mental health or addiction medicine qualifications are desirable but not obligatoryCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check, or be willing to obtainWhat We OfferWe prioritize your wellbeing with regular events and programs designed to help maintain a healthy work/life balance.Ability to join Fitness Passport – Your access pass to a wide range of fitness facilities.
