NSW Ambulance Emergency Medical Call TakersPay CompetitiveEmployment type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionReq#: 209356Employment Type: Permanent Full TimeRemuneration: $63,832 total package excluding penalties/allowancesHours Per Week: 38Requisition ID: CAM18686NSW Ambulance Emergency Medical Call Takers - Sydney Ambulance CentreJoin the team in an integral position, as an Ambulance Emergency Medical Call Taker (formally classified as Communications Assistants).This position is responsible for answering and processing requests for assistance for NSW Ambulance which includes emergency Triple Zero (000) calls and requests for assistance from other agencies and health professionals.As the first point of contact in the patient journey, you will answer and process Ambulance Triple Zero (000) calls, providing lifesaving emergency advice, pre-ambulance arrival instructions, and reassurance to members of the community and other health professionals.Are you resilient, empathetic, composed, and able to work well under pressure?Applicant InformationRoles are appointed on a permanent full-time basis across a 24/7 rotating roster. These positions will be for our Sydney Ambulance Centre (Eveleigh) only.All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine by 30 September 2021 and two doses by 30 November 2021 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate.
