Test Lead

We are looking for someone with the maturity of several years of test leadership, test management and industry test delivery experience from end to end in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies with hands-on experience in developing and overseeing the delivery of test artefacts.
You will be adept in managing both your own deliverables as well as providing oversight within the team.
Your eye for detail, exceptional quality mindset, processes, governance, management and interpersonal skills will be instrumental to this role.
Your superior communication and negotiation skills along with your collaborative and consultative approach will see you confidently influence and guide your team as well as manage stakeholders and vendors across various parts of the organisation.
You are highly organised, approachable, analytical and task-driven, able to prioritise and adapt to competing deadlines and projects.
Critical requirements : Must be a permanent Australian residentMust have a driver's licenceMust be willing to work both from home and client site.Primary responsibilities : Providing support to Project Management, Business & IT stakeholders and Testers within your project or programDemonstrate the required leadership to drive testing outcomesDeliver test estimation, test strategy, test planning, test execution and test reporting across various test phases / sprintsMaintain a resourcing plan to service the projects within the programActing as a central point for testing deliverables and outcomesSupporting and influencing various stakeholder requestsUndertaking and establishing required workshops and quality review meetingsImplementing or maintaining the required level of test governance and processesProvide consultation expertise around test approaches, processes, and tools to othersOversight and review of vendor test deliverablesEnsure that project test deliverables are being created and / or maintained to a high standardFacilitate defect escalations and resolutions by external vendors and technology teamsWhat we're looking for in you... Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related discipline; or relevant industry experienceRelevant industry experience delivering in both Waterfall and Agile environmentsMinimum 3-4 years in testing discipline and leadershipRelevant experience in managing both offshore and onshore teamsMinimum 3-4 years of experience as a delivery test lead, supporting integrated applications in complex environments with multiple technologies, across numerous phases / sprintsMinimum 1-2 years of experience working within an Agile Test Delivery frameworkMinimum 3 years as a technical and business tester (SIT and UAT)Strong written and verbal communicationComfortable with producing relevant test deliverables and test reportingAbility to deliver in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlinesMust have test led the delivery of several medium to large testing projectsRelevant experience in establishing / reviewing test requirements, test scenarios, test cases and maintaining testing coverageRelevant experience in creating and maintaining defectsRelevant Program / Project testing experience using industry-standard testing toolsWhat we are offering...
