Are you an Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care? Our cardiac ward has a part-time position on their team. Working collaboratively with other nursing staff and practitioners, you will be involved with cardiac monitoring and ensure the best care for our patients during their stay.This role requires working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am – 7:30 pm or 7:30 pm – 7:00 am across 72 hours per fortnight.About usEstablished in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 339-bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialties include, but are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology. Gold Coast Private Hospital is continually growing and offers exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in health care.Your duties will include:Supporting patients throughout their stayMonitoring patients on TelemetryLiaising with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsuring patient and staff safetyAssisting nursing staff with the care of patientsMinimum Requirements:A minimum of 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an acute hospital settingCurrent Registration with AHPRAExperience with TelemetryCommitment to Quality Patient CareSound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
