Payroll Metrics is seeking to fill the position of Full-Stack Developer with work from home opportunity.
Payroll Metrics is a software developer specializing in payroll and workforce management (rosters, timesheet management, time recording) software for Australian employers, delivered as a SaaS solution in Microsoft's Azure cloud.
Payroll Metrics is accredited with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
You will be a member of the Development team, reporting to the Head of Development, that ensures that the Payroll Metrics' Payroll and Workforce Management systems achieve their performance and quality service levels through rigorous performance monitoring and improvement processes.
The role of Full-Stack Developer is pivotal:
ensuring Payroll Metrics' performance and security service levels are supported by our infrastructure, growing the platform and the network capabilities to handle massive growth, visualizing, designing, and developing creative and innovative software platforms, as we continue to experience dramatic growth in the usage and visibility of our products.
Your normal daily duties will primarily consist of the following tasks:
researching, consulting, analyzing, and evaluating system program needs, identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods, testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification, writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs, and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards, writing, updating, and maintaining application programs.
Full-stack developer skillset should include knowledge of:
Data access framework such as NHibernate/Entity Framework, MSSQL.
Payroll Metrics will provide you with payroll subject matter knowledge through a mix of education courses and mentoring activities.
We are looking for a candidate with tertiary qualifications in IT, science, or technically oriented commercial subjects.
The successful candidate will have the above skillset, an orientation to problem-solving, a strong knowledge of PC-based operating systems, and a desire to learn payroll and industrial relations processes.

Payroll Metrics was formed in 2013 with the objective of providing a payroll solution that is easy to use and which can readily integrate with related applications such as HR, Finance, LMS, banks, and gateway suppliers.
Today more than 1200 organizations are using our software and we are advanced in developing a New Zealand payroll solution.
