The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.Ahpra is committed to providing a culturally safe work environment that reflects the diversity of the communities in which we operate and serve.Our IT Directorate is seeking an experienced Security Operations and Platform Specialist to join our team.This is a full time, ongoing position.About the RoleThe role supports the Senior Security Operations and Platform Specialist in providing expertise and advice in relation to business priorities for security operations, planning and capability improvements across the business. Assess risk, conduct audits and develop mitigation strategies in relation to security risk across the business. Expertise within this field is fundamental along with knowing when to escalate matters and providing recommendations as security risks occur.In this role you will:Provide SME advice, support and integrate Cyber Security Program deliverablesInvestigate current processes, workflow and procedures for cybersecurityRespond, investigate and monitor cyber security incidentsMonitor and appraise the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape for developing/actual cybersecurity threats to Ahpra and manage the appropriate risk mitigation and defenceDeliver outcomes from the security risk register to guide effective business decision-making and the implementation of adequate security risk controls.About youYou will be an experienced and highly regarded SME in the cyber security field. You will have exceptional, professional and customer-focused interpersonal skills and be able to converse with a range of stakeholders. You will also have the following:Formal qualifications or a minimum of 5 years experience in Security OperationsAdvanced practitioner level using Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender (EDR, EOP, Cloud, Identity), Qualys, CrowdStrike, Darktrace and Delinea PAMExperience in embedding security practices into an organisation to ensure the protection of its people, assets and information.Demonstrated experience and understanding of ITIL incident, change and problem management practices.Resilient, solution-focused and able to reconcile multiple perspectivesBe able to support out of business hours security activitiesBenefits:Interesting and challenging work with a strong public safety purposeSecurity and stabilityA supportive and flexible working culture that supports you in achieving a balance between work and personal commitmentsDiscounts on Medibank Private Health Insurance and selected gym membershipsCentral office locations and modern, open plan workspacesAttractive base salary $129,526 per annum plus superannuationTo apply:Click 'Apply for this job' to submit your application.
