Role Overview As a Risk and Compliance Manager, you will be instrumental in implementing and overseeing risk management programs across our diverse operations.
Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will ensure compliance with all legislative, ethical, and corporate governance standards, while promoting a proactive approach to risk mitigation within the company and with our clients.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage risk management frameworks across the business to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with internal teams and clients to provide expert risk management advice and drive a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Site Audits & Risk Assessments: Conduct site visits and audits to ensure compliance, identify risks, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
Policy Development & Implementation: Lead the creation and enforcement of company policies related to privacy, sustainability, quality assurance, and corporate responsibility.
ISO & Certification Management: Manage internal audit processes, ISO certifications, and ensure compliance with Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Training & Education: Develop and deliver risk management training programs, ensuring that all personnel are equipped with the knowledge and tools to uphold best practices.
Regulatory & Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the key contact for external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and auditors, ensuring that all compliance checks are smoothly managed.
What You'll Bring At least 5 years of security industry experience in compliance, and 3+ years in risk management roles.
You have a deep understanding of security, risk frameworks, and industry standards.
NSW Security License with 2 A subclass (or interstate equivalent), and a valid driver's license.
Formal education in business, security, or risk management is highly desirable.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
You thrive on solving problems, identifying gaps, and driving improvements to enhance operational resilience.
