About the role Full time permanent position based in Parkville, VIC.
Reporting directly to the Community Fundraising Team Leader, you will be responsible for: Coordinating and growing existing community fundraising campaigns/streams, such as active events and third-party fundraising events, utilising digital channels and influences as well as traditional methods Recruiting and stewarding participants of the community fundraising tiers of the Memory Walk & Jog events through state-wide promotion and targeted engagement Liaising with key volunteer groups to support fundraising efforts, and collaborate with third-party agencies and suppliers to maximize partnerships and relationships Providing support to the Team Leader with recording and reporting to track relevant income budgets Using numerous fundraising platforms (e.g.
Funraisin, Grassrootz and GoFundraise) efficiently to leverage opportunities Assisting with events, requiring some weekend and evening work What is in it for you?
Salary benefits: We offer all employees the opportunity to salary package up to $15,900 each year for living expenses and up to $2,650 each year for entertainment benefits.

About you To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following: Demonstrated experience of scheduling, briefing and managing projects, involving other people, to deliver results Tertiary qualification in Events would be highly regarded Strong customer service and/or administration background with a passion to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation Excellent written and verbal communications skills Competent with Microsoft Office and Adobe cloud suite Our culture statements We are aligned in our Purpose We lead with our Head and Heart We work together Collaboratively About us Dementia Australia is the national peak body and source of trusted information, education and services for the more than 400,000 Australians living with dementia, and the more than 1.5 million people involved in their care.
