We are looking for experienced support workers to join the rosters of our valued clients living in the Southern suburbs.
The hours available are varied across 7 days a week, mornings and afternoons.
This is for you if you are a team player who is flexible and professional looking for a great opportunity to make a difference.
Above Award wages apply. You will be responsible for providing quality, individualised and flexible support services to assist our clients to live independently.
Your role will include: Supporting clients with personal care - hygiene, transfers, continence, grooming, etc.Assisting clients in skill development - cooking, shopping, domestic assistance, etc.Supporting clients to access the community - transport to and from appointments or shopping.Encouraging and assisting clients in social and community participation/engagement.Inspire and assist clients to work towards their goals and improve independence.Why Join the McArthur team? Our Applicants will have: An engaging Person-centred approach to care.Great communication and relationship building skills.A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of people with a disability.Proven experience in working with people living with a disability (6 months or more).Skills & Experience Required: Certificate III in Individual Support or similar or Diploma of Nursing/Bachelor of Nursing.Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children check.Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.Valid unrestricted Driver's Licence and willing to transport clients in your own reliable comprehensively insured vehicle.If you believe you are suitable and meet the above requirements, please send your cover letter and resume to Sharon Farn (Workforce Coordinator - Community Care (SA)) at .
