Here at Version 1, we are currently in the market for an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to join our growing Cloud Practice.
You will have the opportunity to work with the latest cloud technology and work on projects across a multiplicity of sectors and industries.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to undertake accreditations and educational assistance for courses relevant to your role.
Job Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and rigorously optimize mission-critical Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions that align precisely with organizational objectives and drive business success.
Oversee and lead complex cloud migration initiatives and seamlessly integrate Oracle Cloud services with existing systems, ensuring uninterrupted operational continuity and minimal business disruption.
Create, enhance, and drive forward robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and stringent security standards to automate and fortify cloud resources against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Oversee ongoing, in-depth analysis to maximize cloud performance, availability, and cost-efficiency while staying at the forefront of Oracle Cloud technological advancements.
Provide authoritative technical leadership, orchestrate cross-functional team efforts, and mentor junior team members to cultivate a culture of excellence in cloud architecture and drive organizational growth.
Qualifications You will have:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect certification required; additional Oracle certifications preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Oracle Cloud solutions and successful implementations.
In-depth expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database technologies, and cloud architecture design.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and security/compliance in cloud environments.
Experience with networking in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud scenarios.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
