DescriptionDirector of Cost ManagementWe are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our cost management team and drive the financial success of large-scale construction, infrastructure, and energy projects in the APAC region.
Location: Brisbane, APAC Region

With a strong track record of growth and expansion, they are now looking to build a talented team to support their vision.
Role OverviewThe Director of Cost Management will be responsible for leading and overseeing the cost management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality cost consultancy services to clients in the APAC region.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the preparation and review of cost estimates and cost plans, including benchmarkingDeveloping Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing options to optimize project costsIdentifying potential risks and maintaining the Risk RegisterParticipating in pre-contract meetings and providing valuable cost insightsDeveloping and preparing detailed cost control reportsAttending client and design team meetings, advising on cost implications and capturing meeting outcomesContributing to the development of project templates and cost management processesOverseeing the preparation and processing of change order logs, invoice logs, and cost reportsConducting measurements and research pricing for development appraisalsDrafting and finalizing pre-qualification questionnaires and reviewing responsesMaintaining and enhancing cost control processes, including cost applications, schedule of values, buyouts, and change ordersRequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experienceMinimum 10 years of cost management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleProficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX to produce estimates, bills, etc.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Project management experience is a plusExceptional verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEstimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
