We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our growing team and support our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Assist in formulating budgetary and accounting policies.
Prepare financial statements for management and regulatory bodies.
Analyze operating costs and monitor income and expenditure to support financial decision-making.
Manage cash flows and maintain liquidity to support business operations.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and prepare tax returns.
Maintain and enhance internal control systems to safeguard the company's assets.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
