Position Summary : Data Engineer with 4+ years of Strong ETL background in building pipelines and models with Streamsets and DBT (Data Build Tool) & experience of Snowflake, AWS Cloud based services S3, EC2, RDS and Apache Airflow.
Desirable Domain experience in the Mining industry strongly preferred.
Mandatory Skills : Data Integration and Migration: Developing and managing ETL pipelines using Streamsets for continuous data ingestion, ensuring seamless data flow and integration. Data Transformation and Standardization: Creating Python scripts to generate DDL statements from MSSQL and Oracle to Snowflake standards, facilitating bulk data migration using BCP. Data Modeling and Analytics: Build data models on DBT for Defect Elimination Solutions and upgraded R scripts utilizing Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Stored Procedures and Scripting, Cloud and Automation, Business Intelligence: PowerBI dashboards development, addressing complex logic using DAX, dynamic measures, parameters. Data Integration Projects: Development of ETL pipelines on Streamsets, ensuring continuous and efficient data migration. Duties and Responsibilities : Design, Develop, test, deploy, operate, and maintain pipelines that flow streaming and batch data via Streamsets. Setting up DBT for Snowflake - Develop Dbt models, tests, macros, analysis, Docs, End-to-end data transformation workflows over Snowflake using SQL using DBT. Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications. Develop operational reports, Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools. Design and implementation of Snowflake-based analytics solution. Analyze current ETL procedures to define and create new systems. Qualifications & Certifications (Optional) : 4 years of experience with Data Warehousing and BI solutions. Understanding of Mining industry concepts. Excellent communication skills and experience in coordinating with onsite & offshore teams. Understanding of data modeling and Data warehousing concepts, Clear understanding of ETL concepts and mandatory experience on ETL. Experience on both Streaming and batch of StreamSets, data collector and transformer, configure pipelines and populate data in different databases. Experience in designing and developing data integration solutions using ETL tools such as dbt. Experience in a role performing data warehouse and analytics solution design and development using a variety of techniques. Background with BI tools and systems such as Power BI. Salary Range : 90,000-$100,000
