This involves establishing and maintaining tax policies and procedures while managing both direct and indirect tax obligations. A key focus of the position is ensuring compliance with PAPL Group's corporate tax statutory and reporting requirements.You will contribute to the success of Opal by:Oversight of Group Tax function.Manage ANZ Direct and Indirect taxation responsibilities for the company, including Capital Gains Tax, Research & Development Claims, income tax, GST, FBT, BAS, Stamp Duty and Payroll Tax.Ensure all required taxation returns and reports are prepared in compliance with various taxation regulations. Where applicable oversee the preparation of these reports to ensure accuracy.Oversight of Group Taxation policies and procedures to ensure they remain current.Providing tax effect accounting reporting to support internal and external reporting requirements.
