We're seeking to expand our team of Patient Transport Officers to work primarily in our patient transport operations across metropolitan Perth, based out of our Welshpool station.
About the role Medical Edge Australia is recruiting Patient Transport Officers holding a minimum of a Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent qualifications for routine patient transport operations in metropolitan Perth.
The Patient Transport Officer (PTO) routinely works with Registered Paramedics, other PTOs, and Ambulance Drivers to provide low and medium acuity transport for a range of patients with various needs.
The PTO must have a sound understanding of clinical guidelines, licensing requirements, and Medical Edge Australia policies and procedures.

The role is remunerated generously with super included on top of the hourly rate as well as any applicable penalties or allowances under the Award.
The role is on a casual basis; however, full-time positions may be available for those that demonstrate alignment with our values and contribute positively to our culture.

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong customer focus.
Applicants must be passionate about first aid and patient care, deliver consistently high standards of customer service to our clients, and closely align with Medical Edge Australia's vision, mission, and values.
For consideration, applicants must have a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent.
Applicants holding the Certificate IV in Healthcare and Diploma of Paramedic Science are also encouraged to apply.
