This site plays a critical role in supporting Moderna's mission to deliver innovative mRNA medicines that have a profound impact on global health.Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Lead, the Warehouse Specialist will play a critical role in supporting Moderna's manufacturing operations in Clayton, Australia. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining production materials to ensure compliance, while also supporting manufacturing teams with the timely movement of materials within the facility. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing drug product deliveries to 3PL's. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that requires attention to detail and commitment to compliance, ensuring that Moderna's warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently to support its groundbreaking work in mRNA technology.Your key responsibilities will be:Processing inbound deliveries via SAP and in accordance with internal procedures.Completing picking and verification of materials to support all manufacturing groups.Managing inventory returns from manufacturing and updating SAP systems.Performing daily cycle counts and segregating expired materials.Ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines throughout warehouse processes.Labeling materials and adhering to internal procedures for warehouse operations.Your responsibilities will also include:Transporting materials and products, managing transfers to and from storage areas.Operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move materials safely.Handling SAP transactions and maintaining accurate records.Practicing and promoting safe work habits within all activities.The key Moderna Mindsets you'll need to succeed in the role:We act with urgency: In this role, you will need to respond quickly to warehouse and manufacturing needs, ensuring that materials are always ready for use and that deliveries are prepared on time. You will need to adapt to changes in priorities and operational demands, helping to ensure smooth material handling and logistics support.Here's what you'll need:High School diploma or equivalent, BS/BA Degree preferred.2 years of experience in Warehouse Operations and Shipping in a highly regulated industry, Pharmaceutical, or related field.Forklift License is essential.Experience working with SAP.This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna's site full-time.
