We look forward to the possibility of connecting with you in the near future to discuss potential opportunities for collaboration.Wishing you continued success and looking forward to building a strong and fruitful relationship.Qualifications & experienceA current West Australian Electrical worker's licenseCertificate III or IV in Instrumentation A West Australian C-class drivers licenseA current Police clearance certificateExperience in a heavy industrial processing plant away FIFO/DIDO exposureBe able to pass a pre-employment medical screenMust live in the Perth metro area or willing to relocateThe following are desirable but not essential: Current First Aid/CPR/LVR Working at HeightsConfined SpacesEWPLFEEHA LR Drivers LicenseTasks & responsibilitiesProcess instrument calibrations Valve positionersExposure to all major instrument manufacturers.
Weightometer calibrations - specialising in Siemens, Thermo Ramsey and Tecweigh.
to achieve the highest accuracyInstallation work - from a simple transmitter replacement, to a weightometer installation, a full instrument project upgrade, EEHA inspections or instrument tubing.Shutdown support - we focus on process instrumentation, with our full-time technicians providing hands on assistance with shutdown execution whilst also providing a point of contact for our casual workforce.Project work - Conception, design, installation, commissioning and after sales support.
Client liaising - Concise direct communication with our clients and vendors.
This includes finding solutions for their instrument problems, writing follow-up reports, writing proposals, quoting, and sending calibration certificates.Proprietary software - all of our technicians are trained in the use of the latest software by the leading instrument manufacturers You are provided with all of the necessary tools to complete tasks.BenefitsCompany vehicle with a fuel card.
Fitted-out motor body (tooling, consumables, solar panel, fridge)Company iPhone, iPad, Laptop, and company credit cardGenerous annual KPI based bonuses Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays (when applicable)Sponsorship for a club or non-for-profit organisation that you are actively involved in (conditions apply)Most of the work is booked Monday to Friday, thus allowing most weekends to be spent at home with family and friends.
Some weekend work is still required for client shutdowns, etc so if you do work through a weekend you can take that time off in lieu.Majority of the work is short-term jobs all over WA and occasionally interstate.
You could be working in Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland, and locally all within the same week.Exposure to a variety of resource processes, including, Gold, Nickel, Lithium, Iron Ore, Lead, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Power GenerationEnhance your existing instrumentation knowledge.
Instrowest will develop you into a specialist in process instrumentation with ongoing training and support from our experienced teamWork within a small dynamic team of exceptional peers.
