About the position
We are seeking a motivated Instrument Technician who has completed Certificate III in Sterilisation to ensure the provision of effective and efficient cleaning, preparation, and storage of instruments and equipment for Theatre and Dental Services.
This position is Casual.
For further information on the role, please refer to the Position Description attached.
Ideally, you will possess:
Certificate III in Sterilisation or equivalent preferably Sound understanding and knowledge of infection control requirements and Australian Sterilising Standard (AS/NZS4187) Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively Knowledge of the Infection Control cleaning standards An understanding of OH&S policies and procedures An understanding of and commitment to quality improvements In return, Seymour Health offers:

At our site in central Seymour, over 350 staff deliver health and allied services.
Our services include a 30-bed public hospital that provides public and private acute medical and surgical, renal dialysis, and day procedures.
Seymour Health's breadth of services extends to post-acute care, palliative care, sub-acute ambulatory service, oral health services, district nursing, and community services.
Barrabill House is a 40-bed residential aged care service that provides highly rated residential aged care.
Seymour Health is conveniently located an hour north of Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and V/Line train service.

All employment with Seymour Health (SH) is subject to and conditional upon a satisfactory Police Check and Victorian 'Employee' Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker screening check.
All employees of SH must comply with the health service's vaccination requirements procedure (as amended from time to time) together with any relevant State Government and Department directives.
This requires all employees to be vaccinated and provide evidence of vaccination for various diseases such as, but not limited to, Influenza and COVID-19.
