United Medical Centres Kirkwood – Gladstone QLDMinimum Requirements: The right candidates should have a base degree, followed by suitable internship and relevant experience of 3 years as a General Practice.
A current APHRA Registration with no restrictions will be an advantage.
Tasks & Responsibilities: Provide a range of health services from prevention of illness through to treatment and rehabilitation.
Medical diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, endocrine and metabolic disorders, and renal diseases.
Documentation for medico-legal purposes, antenatal insurance, etc.
X-ray and skills of cannulation, intubation, catheterization, and fluid management are important.
Ability to read ECGs and CT scans.
Surgical and gynecological procedures - suturing lacerations, incision and drainage of abscesses, excision of skin lesions, contraception, pap smears, etc.
Record and maintain accurate, adequate, and relevant patient records using the established practice protocols and computerized medical records system, including details of: Specialist referrals Previous health and family history Investigations, treatment, and diagnostic results.
You will be in charge of patient billing and share revenue ranging between 50-70% depending on experience and qualification.
The successful applicant can expect to have a minimum guaranteed income of between $300,000 to $340,000 (depending on experience) as income from the billings.
