Management (Community Services & Development) Salary Package worth $130k-$138k includes $13k housing allowance12 month fixed term contract*** MOVE TO THE BEAUTIFUL PILBARA REGION FOR 12 MONTHS *** Our client is a Community Controlled Organisation and is a primary health care service, NDIS service provider and community program provider, managed by the local Aboriginal community.
They deliver holistic, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate health and disability care to communities in the Pilbara.
The Exciting 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Lifestyle Change: If you are tired of being in the 'every day grind' in Perth, this wonderful opportunity will give you the chance to live in the beautiful Pilbara for 12 months - there is a very strong possibility of this being extended to a permanent position thereafter should you fall in love with the Pilbara Region.
Role Overview: The role of Disability Services Manager is to develop, manage and implement a disability services program for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.
Day to Day Duties: Develop, manage and implement a disability services program for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peopleManage the NDIS service provider activity under the guidance of the CEOEnsure the financial sustainability of the disability services programsDevelopment of outcomes to determine program success, working with the Business Development Manager and Chief Finance Officer in regard to reporting requirementsMeasurement and reporting of the program, working with the Business Development Manager and Chief Finance Officer in regard to reporting requirementsAccess to the NDIS scheme and maintain certification of the organisationIdentification and development of service providers within the Roebourne/Karratha areaEvidence, Access and Coordination of Planning for the NDIS in the Service area - Roebourne and surrounding areasFacilitate Scheme eligibility testing, access and coordination of plan buildBe a key point of contact for potential participants and families as well as the Agency working in and alongside (as relevant), community connector and NDIA staffFacilitate and establish relationships with people with disability and families and service providers in community working in and alongside (as relevant), community ConnectorsFacilitate and coordinate meetings and sessions between participants, relevant stakeholders, community connector/s and NDIA staff that address access requirements and plan buildsLead and manage Community Connectors - Develop a thorough understanding of the role and requirements of Community ConnectorsQuality improvement - participate in the quality improvement program and accreditationAbout You: NDIS business management experience including a thorough understanding and experience working within participant funding and organisational budgetsKnowledge of services and supports for those with disabilitiesAbility to develop, implement and oversee the disability services programAbility to manage and lead a multidisciplinary teamMust be willing to relocate for 12 months to Karratha or RoebourneThe Benefits: Total package valued at $130k-$138kBase salary $105k - $110k$18,000 Salary Sacrifice$13,000 housing allowance paid fortnightly for subsidised accommodationRelocation AssistanceRegional allowanceFall in love with the stunning Pilbara12-month fixed term contract to see if you enjoy living in the PilbaraPlease send your resume directly by clicking 'apply now' to Tanzela Azam - Senior Associate Director or call for further information.
