Some of your Key Responsibilities:   Perform any reasonable task as requested by management.
Keeps the work areas tidy and clean.
Minimizes spoilage and utilizes food surplus control.
Maximizes personal productivity.
Stores food as per  the 43 point check list  Ensures that all food is prepared and served according to the standard set by the Hotel.
Produces cooking and presentation of food under supervision.
Ensures standard recipes are used and that food is presented according to pictures.
Ensures that all machines, furniture (fridge's, benches, etc.
), equipment and utensils are clean and in working condition at all times.
Checks all assigned areas in regards to sanitation and hygiene to prevent contamination of any kind.
Ensures the kitchen is always in a safe condition to prevent accidents.
Maintains interdepartmental communication.
Training as directed Shows motivation, professionalism, skills and team spirit in performing duties.
Reports all accidents, health and safety hazards to the Chef de Partie.
Is aware of Hotel fire, safety and security procedures.
