Job Description At Manly Pacific, we are looking for experienced passionate Chefs with proficient knife skills, a passion for fresh food who are self-motivated & enthusiastic to join our team at the stunning ocean-front hotel location the Manly Pacific. Besides the room service, the unique French/Mediterranean hotel breakfast restaurant, you will have the opportunity to work at our newly launched Lobby Bar & Rooftop Bar with refurbished swimming pool: talk about breathtaking Ocean Views Our passionate team creatively crafts moments of indulgence for our customers, offering unique dining experiences through traditional techniques and the finest ingredients with a contemporary flair.
Positions available are for FULL TIMERS only: Commis/Demi Chef Chef de Partie Qualifications What we are looking for (Chefs) ?
Must have Australian working rights.
Produce creative and innovative menu designs Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet Brand Standard guidelines and are maintained at that level Respond to any changes in food styles and service trends Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire Kitchen Brigade to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines Cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks by which quality improvement is drive And for the Kitchen Attendant ; Having a full working right in Australia Actions cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas and scullery.
General pantry duties and maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers.
Assist in the preparation of food as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team.
Maintain cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry, fridge and freezers.
Assist with the receiving and storing of stock.
Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
