The Opportunity Lead a team within an established global organization, reporting directly to the General Manager.
You will be managing, supporting, and developing a team of advisors to nurture the workplace culture that delivers excellence in safety management.
Your Duties Work collaboratively to coach leaders in proactive safety behavior and to model and drive safe operations and eliminate risks within their departments.Drive compliance for safety programs and processes to ensure there is a consistent standard of identifying, assessing, and managing risks that may be present.Assess feedback from department leads and senior management and act accordingly to improve safety policies.Support and maintain company certification to Australian and International standards in accordance with HSEQ auditing.Interact with the client to understand how to successfully manage their risks and add value to their operations and business strategy.Travel to multiple sites across Australia as part of your role.Your Background Relevant Health and Safety qualifications, Cert IV WHS as a minimum.Experience in cultural development and safety management, preferably with experience within the resource sector.Robust understanding and knowledge of national and international HSEQ laws and regulations in resources.Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.What's on Offer Flexible working conditions with the ability to work in the CBD office and from home.Work with senior leadership and opportunities for professional development and potential internal promotion.Provide management, engagement, and support to a team of advisors across Australia.Full employee benefits package.About the Business you'll be joining They are a well-established, global business that has been in the market for over 60 years and employs over 5,000 people.
