The Food & Beverage Manager role on offer represents a significant opportunity for the right candidate.
Position Description
Reporting to and working closely with the General Manager, the F&B Manager will be a senior leader within the business.
This is a new role, a pivotal role to not only improve on existing success but also transform and deliver on the significant opportunities that exist in the F&B space.
In addition to running the day-to-day operations of the venue, there is a strong reliance on this role to improve profitability through sales, cost control, business development and growth.
This is also a hands-on position requiring operational excellence, attention to detail, financial acumen, and entrepreneurial flair.
The F&B Manager will work with the Head Chef to deliver an excellent food experience whilst retaining overall accountability of breakfast, functions and the newly developed Birdrock Bar & Grill – where you will be part of the operational team.
Tasks and Outcomes
Manage all food and beverage operations Deliver excellent levels of customer service Understand and contribute to your budget, value your P&L and act with urgency on remedial actions Recruit, manage, train and develop the food and beverage team, ensuring a high level of clarity around the F&B strategy Optimise facilities and F&B spaces of the business Carry out appraisals with team members under your responsibility Manage guest feedback / queries in a timely and efficient manner Develop menus with other members of the Food and Beverage team Accountable for monthly stock takes Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement Liaise with departmental managers to ensure smooth interdepartmental operations Promote a positive and safe working environment, emphasizing team development and training.
You will need proven experience delivering P&L performance, developing teams and maximising business opportunities.
