We have an exciting opportunity to join the Opal team as our Regency Park site is looking for an Afternoon Shift Coordinator to come onboard, in an ongoing, full-time role
Working a four-day, 38 hour week (Monday to Thursday) leading our afternoon shift, the key focus of this role will be to:
Ensure your team's safety is protectedLead the Afternoon Shift teams to achieve the production plan to the targeted DIFOT levelsBuild engagement and trust with employees through regular, open communicationsEnsure the execution of production activities is efficient and effective to meet targeted KPIs for the siteMake sure the training needs for the crew to effectively operate the plant are met by assessing training needs and developing individual training & assessment plans.Play a key role in ensuring a clean handover takes place at the start and end of shiftsEnsure standardised processes and conditions are developed, understood, implemented and sustained across all teams to meet customer and business requirementsFor this role we would ideally like you to have:
Experience upholding safety standards across a fast-paced manufacturing siteExperience in leading & motivating teams on a multi-shift manufacturing sitePrior experience driving improvements in relevant KPI's such as DIFOT and upholding strict product quality standards.Demonstrated experience in using ERP systems (such as SAP) would be highly regardedA proven continuous improvement and customer-centric mindsetClear and effective communication skills and strong coaching skillsApplications are open to both internal and external candidates.
