About the role This pivotal role will lead the development and enhancement of internal HR systems, policies, and processes, designed to advance organisational improvement.
The HR Manager will be required to navigate complex employee relations matters and action considered HR strategy that will have the greatest impact on business improvement.
Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing effective strategies for talent attraction, retention, and employee engagementCoordinating all administrative activities related to an organisation's personnel, maintaining consistency and control over the complete HR lifecycleOverseeing and refining employee standards and procedures, utilising existing HR systems whilst identifying continuous improvement opportunitiesFostering a culture of collaboration and respect, aligned with organisational values and behavioursDesigning and coordinating workforce planning initiatives and development processes that will positively impact business success metricsDefine and manage HR metrics to provide insights into organisational health and trendsProvide support, advice and coach Managers in all employee relations activities including performance management conduct and behaviour and grievancesLead strategic HR projects, manage the HR department budget, and identify cost-saving initiativesSpearhead change management initiatives and develop diversity and inclusion programsCultivate relationships with key stakeholders to align HR strategies with organisational objectivesEnsure compliance with employment laws and proactively identify HR risksAbout You Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a Business-related course, coupled with a minimum of 5 years proven experience in an HR focused roleWell versed in best practice employee relations, cultural alignment and organisational developmentStrong influencing, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and promote positive changeExperience in project and change management with excellent organisational skillsAbility to prioritise competing demands and adapt to change in a fast paced and dynamic work environmentAn understanding of industrial relations, associated employer obligations and its application to SMEPrevious experience in HSE/HR within manufacturing or mining sectors is highly desirableProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HRIS systems (e.g.
