The Department of Education and Training Northern Territory is looking for new and experienced teachers to join the most improving education system in Australia.

An attractive salary commencing at $92,215 to $131,349 (based on your years of classroom teaching experience) + 17.5% leave loading.
6 weeks recreation leave and 6 weeks stand down leave per annum, 3 weeks personal leave per annum, 5 days per annum for Cultural and Ceremonial leave obligations.
The option to salary sacrifice.
Relocation assistance and living allowances.
Flexible working arrangements.
Additional incentives and benefits for going remote – such as secured furnished housing and remote allowances on top of your salary.
Katherine and Alice Springs Urban educators also receive an additional retention allowance of $4,500 per annum on top of their salary and relocation allowances.

We are seeking qualified classroom teachers who can:
Plan, prepare and explicitly deliver quality and effective teaching and learning programs which are consistent with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and relevant curriculum policies, work programs and educational trends.
Support students through interaction in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.
Provide for the physical, social, cultural and emotional well-being and safety of students whilst at school.
Regularly assess students (diagnostic, formative and summative) for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes.
Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents, the department and other stakeholders as required.
Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships between the school, parents and community.
Gain registration with the Teachers Registration Board of the Northern Territory.
