The Office of Equity, Diversity and Wellbeing is on the lookout for vibrant individuals to join our dynamic Disability Services Team as a Casual Educational Support Assistant.
Your mission: empower students with disabilities or chronic health conditions by providing reasonable adjustments and practical academic assistance to complete their studies.
Key Responsibilities: Attend rostered classes, providing detailed and accessible notes for students across a diverse range of subjects Provide practical academic support as rostered, ensuring students can seamlessly access resources and actively participate in the practical elements of their program Complete mandatory Western Sydney University online training modules, which include but are not limited to disability awareness and task responsibilities before commencing employment Uphold the principles of the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) and the Disability Standards for Education (2005), fostering an inclusive learning environment.
