Senior Technical LeadThe Senior Technical Lead is responsible for developing fast, secure, scalable, and maintainable applications that will make us stand out from the crowd by ensuring quality and enabling Company employees to work effectively.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for design, development, and maintenance of the data lake built using Spark framework on big data ecosystem.Create Source to Target mapping artefact and present in governance and approval forums.Translate business requirements into technical design documents.Track all levels of normal, recurring, critical batch failures in the application and provide permanent resolution code fixes.Provide support during application delivery times and handle issues during production deployments.Automate daily manual workarounds using shell scripts in the production environment.Coordinate with offshore scrum teams to ensure project tasks are executed on time with agreed quality.Interact with business stakeholders and designers to understand business requirements.Have working experience in IntelliJ IDEA, AutoSys, WinSCP, Putty & GitHub.Design, build, install, configure, and support Hadoop.Transform data using Spark & Scala.Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.Perform analysis of vast data stores and uncover insights.Maintain security and data privacy.Create scalable and high-performance web services for data tracking.Manage and deploy HBase.Test prototypes and oversee handover to operational teams.Education Qualification, Experience and ExpertiseAt least 7-14 years experience with the following technologies: Spark, Oracle 11g, Hike, HDFS, bigoop.Expertise in Teradata DWH and ETL technical solutions.Expertise in SQL.Scripting: BTEQ & Unix shell scripting.Tools: Windows Task Scheduler, Autosys, Teradata 15.10, CVS, SVN.Good to have Teradata Vantage knowledge.Scripting Languages: Java, Python, Unix, and Scala.Scheduling Tools: Autosys.Advanced understanding of ETL processes and practices.Advanced SQL skills; able to build solutions that are fit for purpose, perform well with large data volumes and complex data transformation rules.Strong knowledge of data structures including time variant and dimensional models, algorithms.Excellent communication, presentation skills, and leadership skills.Your application will include the following questions:
