Our team of highly skilled allied health professionals and employment consultants include Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellors.
IPAR is part of the global MedHealth network.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Darwin NT.
This role is available for both part-time and full-time positions.
New graduates are welcome to apply In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day while having the support of a strong team of healthcare professionals.
You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Your duties will include:
Case management (manageable caseloads with support from Rehabilitation Assistants);Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;Assisting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;Completing assessments using your clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.QualificationsYou'll be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualities:
A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy registration with either AHPRA or ESSA;Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded;Excellent communication skills;Compassion and empathy;Strong time management skills;A current valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle with comprehensive insurance.Additional InformationYour Career at IPAR IPAR is a lively and supportive workplace.
