Position Overview: As the Warehouse Manager at Pep Transport, you will lead our efforts to develop and expand our contract logistics capabilities while cultivating strong relationships with our clients.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in warehouse management systems and a commitment to delivering high-level customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to expand Pep Transport's contract logistics capabilities, including warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment services.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in meeting their logistics needs.Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the contract logistics segment, working closely with the sales and business development teams.Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, service level agreements, and quality standards.Utilise warehouse management systems to optimise inventory management, order fulfillment, and operational efficiency.Provide leadership and direction to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to address client needs and enhance service offerings.Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to contract logistics operations.Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role within the contract logistics industry, with a track record of success in developing business and cultivating client relationships.Strong experience with warehouse management systems, with proficiency in implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to deliver high-level customer service and exceed client expectations.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives.Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions.Commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism, with a passion for continuous improvement.Join Our Team: If you are a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a passion for contract logistics and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we invite you to join the Pep Transport team as the Warehouse Manager.
