We are looking for an Actuarial Manager to lead our Customer Remediation Program actuarial work stream in a permanent capacity.
This role will report to the GM – Pricing and is a member of our high performing pricing business.
In this role, you may also be responsible for: Pricing support for designated products, managing stakeholder relationships and product performance.
Developing solutions to proactively assist in monitoring portfolio performance and emerging trends.
Building complex models using standard pricing techniques, including, but not limited to GLMs, Machine Learning, Price Simulation and Rate Setting.
Understanding the impact of pricing reviews on the performance KPIs of various business units.
Managing allocated projects or assignments, including pricing processes for allocated products.
Recognizing lead indicators of performance and having a sound understanding of the impact of different drivers and actions on profit and volume outcomes.
Continually seeking to improve processes within work scope, and providing input into design, build and testing process improvements or new process builds.
Day-to-day management of actuarial analysts.
About you To be successful you will have: Strong experience in a similar role or Senior Level Actuarial position.
Background in General Insurance pricing.
Ability to analyse, interpret and extrapolate statistical and technical pricing data from a number of sources and resolve complex issues.
Ability to communicate complicated concepts verbally and in writing in a simple, professional manner.
Proficiency in commonly used actuarial and pricing software packages.
Bachelor's degree in actuarial or mathematically focused area.
Leadership and People management exposure preferred but not essential.
