Senior Supply Planner - FMCG - Consumer Goods Established for over 50 years, this company is a fast-growing and dynamic family-owned business well-regarded in the beverage industry for innovation and quality in product, logistics, and customer service.
They are looking for a Senior Supply Planner to support Supply and Operations through the advancement of QAD programs/modules, medium to long-term capacity modeling, critical thinking, analysis, and understanding of system parameters and influences in order to improve operational efficiencies.
This includes process improvement/automation and insights through meaningful reporting.

Being family-owned and focused on an amazing culture, this role is part of a succession planning into a Planning & Procurement Manager role over time.
So although no people management is required now, you will need to demonstrate current leadership capabilities and some experience leading and managing a small team.

Based in Bundaberg, and reporting to the Planning & Procurement Manager, your key responsibilities are:
The role:
Key role in QAD continuous improvement to automate, enhance and increase efficiencies through the increased use of QAD modules to support P&P AOP objectives.
Active member of IBP Supply Stream process, providing insight & direction into replenishment planning, risks, and opportunities.
Involvement in Supply Chain MRP/CRP Projects, including problem analysis and resolution.
Perform the roles of the Production Planner and the Brewhouse Planner during periods of absence.
Provide insights into medium- and long-term requirements and potential constraints.
Creation and management of QAD system for new or existing Bill of Materials, raw material items, and trial SKU setup.
You:
Critical to your success will be your skills around supply planning and leadership capabilities.
Other essential experience is:

5 years experience with ERP platform QAD (Highly desirable but not essential).
Previous experience in manufacturing/supply chain (Essential).
Proven leadership skills.
Data analysis skills.
Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to learn quickly.
Ability to work autonomously.
High attention to detail required.
You have a multinational or SME FMCG sales background and are currently or were in a similar role looking for a new role with a growing and innovative company.
Your background will ideally be able to demonstrate success leading a small team as well.
