About Us Construction is now well underway for our new Moorebank RDC (MoRDC).
Located in Moorebank NSW, MoRDC is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network.
The 84,000 sqm facility will strengthen Primary Connect's NSW supply chain and service more than 350 Woolworths Supermarkets, with over 9,000 product lines.
We will be partnering with Vanderlande, who are a market-leading, global partner for process automation in the warehousing industry.
What you'll do Planning and monitoring workflows through the highly automated DC, optimising capacity, velocity, accuracy, and efficiency.Monitoring product flows, processing equipment, and order completion progress, proactively identifying and coordinating actions necessary to maintain high levels of system performance and on-time order completion.Analysing and monitoring the flow of products and orders through the facility to identify areas for improvement, processes enhancement and optimisation.With support and training, become a subject matter expert and super-user of the automation control systems and utilise these skills to maintain and optimise control system configuration settings to maximise performance, capacity, and efficiency.Identifying system performance trends, unplanned faults and/or performance or functional deviations and planning, initiating and coordinating appropriate response and recovery actions (short term) and continuous improvement initiatives (medium term).Provide leadership to a Flow Control team and collaborate with colleagues and other departments to drive continuous improvement in the timely and efficient flow of products and orders through the facility.What you'll bring: Proven experience in an operations role, preferably in a fast-paced distribution centre or order fulfilment environment.Proven experience in a role encompassing planning, process control or workflow control with a well-developed capability to measure and monitor processes and process data/dashboards.An excellent and confident communicator with stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.A capacity to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (ability to process and respond to unplanned events and changing data).A deep understanding of safety protocols and risk management, with a commitment to ensuring that safety is embedded in all aspects of operations.A track record of driving continuous improvement and delivering results in a complex, matrix environment.Whilst the role is primarily focused on day operations, given the nature of this DC, there would be a requirement to be flexible on your start and finish times.What you'll experience: An attractive remuneration packageTeam discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brandsA global business with endless career possibilitiesA range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including a competitive leave policy and 24/7 access to the Sonder app.Opportunity to Salary SacrificeEveryone belongs at Woolworths Group Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
