The Role:
Are you an E2E HRIS Project Specialist finishing up your latest gig and seeking a new challenge in 2025?
Our Greenfields HRIS Dayforce project will revolutionise the Uniting Church and its associate entities' ways of working.
You will be a key partner in the impact it will have to help us work better and more efficiently in supporting front-line mission and community work.
You will be the key intermediary between organisation end-users and Synod Office to ensure that processes and systems meet organisation requirements.
Taking accountability for analysing and defining People & Culture (P&C) specific requirements, design, build and functionality for the HRIS system and providing system user configuration and administration.
For this 12-month Maternity Leave fixed term contract, experience with Dayforce is highly regarded but not essential.
What you will be doing:
Defining, documenting, and verifying business functional and non-functional requirements Creating business process designs to provide the foundation for the development of effective business solutions, including gap analysis of HR applications functionality.
Supporting stakeholders, vendors, and project team members through the provision of subject matter expertise in HR business processes.
Ensuring HR systems meet legislative and policy compliance by monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements and changes.
Coordinating and participating in user acceptance testing and making change enhancements where needed.
Providing business change management and subject matter expertise (SME) in the rollout of end-user training and support.
In collaboration with the project team, identifying security requirements and designing, testing, and documenting user access solutions compliant with agreed security policy guidelines.
Providing cross-functional team support including backing up the HR Reporting and Systems Analyst by providing security management, data analysis, and developing queries and reports.
What you will need:
Significant previous experience implementing, upgrading, and supporting HRIS applications, with the ability to perform user configuration and administration (workflow, portal, security).
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders, clients, volunteers, staff, and management.
High resilience and ability to navigate calmly through complexities and grey areas.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, or relevant experience Significant previous experience in generalist HR/and or ER Business Partner role; Award and policy interpretation experience.
