About the roleWe are seeking a Change Manager to join our Data Team in Sydney.
The Change Manager plays a crucial role in the scaled migration of an on-premise Hadoop platform to AWS EMR, ensuring a smooth transition with zero disruption in business operations as an objective.
What you'll be doingStakeholder Management - Customer/AWS/InternalChange Impact Assessment - Create and assess the report on the process, systems, and users over the impact of the change moving into production each time.Change Management Plan - Develop a release plan including timelines, milestones, stakeholders involved, risk/dependencies, and mitigations.Training - Ensure the users are trained on specific releases from business operations, technical operations to key stakeholders.Tools - Work on release management tools on AWS like CloudWatch, IAM, XL Release to follow the process of release during the migration.Collaborate - Technically collaborate to ensure seamless migration addressing the technical challenges and dependencies.Documentation - Document the lessons learned and best practices and help improve the runbooks for the migration.What we're looking forEducation: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong experience in Business Process - Change Management.Experience in creating and ensuring the implementation of an effective Release Management.AWS CI/CD pipeline experience for release management.AWS IaC (Infrastructure as Code) experience.Release automation experience, automated code deployment, automated testing.Automated release management experience.AWS Certifications in DevSecOps.AWS DevSecOps certification.12-15 years of experience.5-8 years of experience in Release Management and Automation.Why UsWe are one of the fastest-growing large tech companies in the world, with offices in 50+ countries across the globe and 219,000 employees.
