We have a truly unique and exciting opportunity based at our Brisbane Airport location.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Unit Logistics Officer to join our friendly and expert Catering Unit team on a full-time basis.
What does a typical day look like? You will be responsible for monitoring and managing the Domestic and International airline equipment daily inventory levels across all airlines, engaging in logistic communications directly with internal and external airline stakeholders to ensure the facility has sufficient stock to cater for our daily demand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Receipts of all Food and non-food itemsEnsuring HACCP is covered on all food receiptsOrdering for all airline equipmentMaintaining operational stock controlFilling out and submission of relevant Customs DocumentationAssisting with monthly stocktake and regular compliance auditsWhat do you need to be successful in securing this role? The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of 3PL logistics, manufacturing production processes, and warehouse managementSound knowledge of the airline industry beneficialStrong problem-solving skillsHands-on approachGood verbal and written communication skillsCurrent Forklift license is essentialExcel and JDE or similar ERP experience would be highly regardedDemonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholdersWhat's in it for you?
