The Role
We are looking for a Practice Assistant who is highly organised and dependable to join our rapidly growing business.
We are a diverse group, and are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hard-working and has a positive attitude.
This full-time position in our Perth office will allow you to utilise your strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent administration and organisational abilities, and play an integral part in our growth and overall success.
You will work closely with our Partners and fee earners, providing high-quality legal support to ensure the smooth running of the Commercial Litigation practice.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Commercial Litigation practice Diary management and extensive travel arrangements Prepare and organise legal documents, including correspondence, briefs and trial materials Hard copy and e-filing Client liaison and communication Email management Billing and expense management Time entries Generating reports Maintain client and matter records and databases Ad hoc administrative duties including printing, scanning and photocopying We're looking for someone:
With 1+ years legal assistance experience within litigation With strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage multiple stakeholders and priorities Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite, billing and document management system skills Who is an effective communicator and possesses excellent organisational abilities Who is confident and self-motivated A proficient problem solver, adept at identifying and resolving challenges A commitment to providing a high level of administrative support to the team Collaborative, and able to work effectively as part of a team Who is an Australian Citizen or permanent resident What's in it for you
