Director - Allied Health (Rehabilitation)This role provides significant strategic direction to Allied Health Profession Directors and the Rehabilitation leadership team.An opportunity has become available for a Director – Allied Health (Rehabilitation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willProvide leadership across the workforce in creating a culture and future direction that values innovation, contemporary models of care, education, research, and professional support.Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and service planning in liaison with the Executive Director and Clinical Director for Allied Health and Rehabilitation Services.Identify potential large-scale risks and/or emergent complex clinical service or workflow problems, initiate immediate responses, report appropriately, and ensure follow-up.Lead research and education initiatives including fostering the translation of evidence-based research data into practice to support decision-making and workforce capacity.About youTo be successful in this position you will require:Tertiary degree in a relevant Allied Health discipline is mandatory.
