Profits back to members, not shareholders.Closing date: 20th December 2024 - candidates will be contacted in January.Please note Rest does not accept speculative resumes from recruitment agencies.Job DescriptionExperienced Vendor Management professional from a regulated environment required for lead role in IT function.Permanent role based in Sydney or Melbourne.Genuine Hybrid working environment.The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the effective and efficient management of Rest's technology service providers. The role needs to ensure that all technology contracts meet Rest's and regulatory compliance standards and that vendors continue to meet their contractual obligations in regard to performance, risk management, and compliance. You will support the General Manager, Enterprise Architecture & Technology in selecting the right service providers and ensuring they deliver optimum value within Rest's Risk appetite.Key Accountabilities/ResponsibilitiesWork closely with DTD leadership to create and maintain sourcing plans for key technology services.Maintain a RACI identifying the key roles and responsibilities involved in the governance of DTD service providers.Collaborate with the strategic procurement team to ensure that all contracts reflect necessary technology standards including regulatory compliance obligations.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key technology service providers.Support vendor relationship owners in creating, implementing, and maintaining vendor management plans.Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support the resolution of any contractual compliance issues.Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and regulations affecting technology service providers.Ensure vendor governance forums are run consistently and effectively.Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management regarding vendor performance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.Required experience, understanding, or credentials including:Significant experience in vendor management or a similar role within a technology environment.Strong understanding of technology management.Ability to create, implement, and work within frameworks to uplift vendor management capabilities.Experience with vendor risk management platforms and tools.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical staff and senior management.Ability to work independently but values a collaborative approach.Additional InformationOur benefits have been designed so you can tailor your experience with us and include:Personal and professional development opportunities.Flexible, hybrid working – work to suit your lifestyle (must be based in Australia).Purchase leave scheme and gender-neutral 16 weeks paid parental leave.Super Contribution Continuation for 12 Months of parental leave.Meeting-free breaks (Rest Stops).Income Protection Insurance.Rest Excellence awards (peer recognition awards based on Rest's values and behaviours).If you share our values, believe you can help make a difference for our members, and want to be part of a leading superannuation fund with a Super culture, please click Apply Now.Rest is committed to creating a flexible work environment and culture that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion - where people feel welcome, safe to be themselves, and inspired to do their best.We value the different backgrounds, lived experiences, and abilities our diverse team brings.
