RedPointRedPoint commenced trading in 1975 on the family farm and has grown into the leading, industry-specialised wholesale and retail distributor of batteries, lubricants, and filters.We support thousands of key account customers across Australia from our modern purpose-built warehouse locations in Kempsey, Coffs Harbour, and Wagga, with our trucks delivering across the region.Customers benefit from our exceptional team of 24 people who all focus on helping businesses and retail customers through providing the knowledge, advice, backup, and support they expect from a trusted, loyal partner.With Australia's largest range, RedPoint carries extensive inventory on hand, and our delivery trucks cover automotive, marine, commercial, mobility, specialty, and leisure applications, backed by preferred supplier relationships and formidable buying power, which positions RedPoint to extend cost-effective and long-lasting solutions to every customer.We understand the critical quality and performance requirements that customers demand, working closely with them to meet specific industry standards and certifications.The RedPoint internal systems, business tools, and processes have been expertly designed and continue to evolve, which empowers our staff to deliver their best work for our customers.Role Description :As a Business Development Manager at RedPoint, you will be pivotal in driving the company's growth and maintaining its market leadership position in the automotive industry.Based in the Riverina region, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and protecting existing customer relationships, expanding wallet share through education initiatives, and acquiring new customers through proactive outreach and relationship-building efforts.Key Role Responsibilities :Customer Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing customers in the Riverina region.
Understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities to provide tailored solutions and exceptional service.Business Growth : Drive revenue growth by expanding wallet share with existing customers through proactive education on product offerings and value-added services.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.New Business Development : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Riverina region.
Although your focus will be Riverina, ideally located around Wagga, you will have no geographic boundary if you need to pursue opportunities.
You should demonstrate strong skills and motivation to utilise cold calling and networking strategies to establish relationships with potential customers and convert leads into sales.Market Understanding : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the automotive sector.
Leverage this knowledge to identify new business opportunities and position RedPoint as the preferred supplier.Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company processes and support in executing sales initiatives.Customer Service Excellence : Ensure that customers receive outstanding service at every touchpoint.
Address any issues or concerns promptly and proactively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.Reporting and Analysis : Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
