We are currently seeking a Bid Manager with experience in BMS or Security to join our HBS team in our North Ryde office.
Reporting to the Senior Estimating Supervisor , this role will be responsible for shepherding qualified opportunities through the different internal support functions, with a goal of delivering a first-class proposal for customer presentation.
The position will also work on behalf of the Account Managers and Business Consultants regarding identifying and providing support documentation, including approvals for the booking of such proposals, thus providing increased customer face-time for the District sales force.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the performance, planning, resource management, and coordinating the development of solution scope, the estimate and the proposal for service/project opportunities Manage sales costs for assigned opportunities against projected/estimated budget Lead bid response, functional system review, competitive comparison, and review for accurate estimates and new applications of technology Establish strong working relationships with Sales and Functional team members to anticipate barriers and overcome them prior to impacting response timelines with customers Navigate and manage the formal Sales process from opportunity identification through booking on behalf of the Sales professional ensuring all compliance elements, tools, reviews and approvals have been accomplished Consult with Sales on pursuit strategy, analytics and models of success to maximize chances of winning Responsible for the strategy and execution of the response plan/schedule for assigned opportunities Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, equivalent Honeywell sales operations experience Experience working in a highly matrixed organization Exceptional organizational and communication skills Working experience with Salesforce & CPQ Proven ability to work on multiple projects/opportunities at one time Who We Are
