Job ResponsibilitiesMy client is a leading business in the building industry.
We are seeking a person with bookings/allocations experience, preferably in construction materials, quarry products, or other road transport activities.
Experience and knowledge as an allocator of road transport or in the construction industry is very desirable.
Key Responsibilities: Take all bookings for jobsAllocate jobs to the staff and assets for sites throughout MelbourneDevelop and maintain a strong rapport with customers and staffEnsure jobs are logged and closed effectivelyResolution of disputesSkills RequiredDesired Requirements: Knowledge of road transport/building regulationsExperience allocating large volumes of workEnjoy working in a fast-paced busy working environmentThe right candidate must have: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar roleTertiary qualifications in Logistics Management or related field desirableExcellent communication skills with high attention to detailStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsMust be able to work independently and strive for successAbility to work efficiently and show initiativeBe highly organised with excellent time management skills.If you are looking for the next step in your career and have the relevant skills and experience to work as an allocator in a fast-paced environment in the construction industry, APPLY NOW.
